Asia Minor EA closed qualifier set to start

StarLadder has revealed the first-round match-ups and the schedule for the East Asia closed qualifier leading to the Asia Minor.

Eight teams, four invited and four qualified, will be competing from May 29-31 in a double-elimination bracket for the chance to attend the Asia Minor preceding the StarLadder Major.

Currently ranked 26th in the world, MVP PK are the clear favourites for the qualifier, but the South Korean side giants will have to be wary of the threat posed by Japan's Absolute and by Mongolian duo The MongolZ and Mazaalai.

The winner of the East Asia qualifier will become the fourth team confirmed for the Asia Minor, joining Alpha Red, FFAmix and the leading side of the Central & South Africa qualifier, which will end on Tuesday.
